This Privacy Policy explains how Tuckero Pty Ltd (“Tuckero”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. It applies to customers, drivers and anyone who contacts us or uses our services.

1. What We Collect

We only collect information that is reasonably necessary to provide our local delivery service:

• Name, phone number and email address
• Pickup and delivery addresses, delivery instructions and order details
• Payment information (processed securely by our payment provider — we do not store full card details)
• Delivery records, including timestamps, confirmation photos and location data used to verify pickup and delivery
• Device information and push notification tokens (so we can send job alerts and important updates)

Driver information

When someone applies to drive with Tuckero, we collect additional information needed to assess and manage the engagement. This may include:

• ABN, driver’s licence details, vehicle information and insurance details
• Bank account details for payment of delivery fees
• Location data while performing deliveries
• Information and documents confirming the driver has the legal right to work in Australia

We require all drivers to have valid working rights in Australia. We may collect, verify and retain evidence of those working rights as part of onboarding and ongoing compliance.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

• Arrange, assign and complete deliveries
• Contact you about your order or account
• Process payments and refunds
• Verify that pickups and deliveries took place (including photo, time and location evidence)
• Send service-related notifications and alerts
• Maintain records, improve our service, and meet legal and tax obligations

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. Who We Share It With

We only share the minimum information necessary:

• Assigned drivers – receive the pickup and delivery details needed to complete the job
• Payment providers – to process payments securely
• Technology service providers – such as cloud hosting, database and messaging services that help us run the platform (these providers are required to protect your information)

We may also disclose information where required by law.

4. Storage & Overseas Disclosure

Your information is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. Some of our service providers may process or store data outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.

5. How We Protect Your Information

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Access is limited to those who need it to deliver the service. Payment card details are handled by our secure payment provider and are not stored by Tuckero.

6. How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the service, meet our legal and tax obligations, and resolve any disputes. You may ask us to delete information that we are not required to keep.

7. Your Rights

You can request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or raise a privacy concern. Just email us at admin@tuckero.au and we will respond within a reasonable time.
