To register, you only need
- A valid driver's licence (a photo of it, uploaded after you create your account)
- Your vehicle and registration details
Add now or later, on your profile
- Your PayID (the mobile number or email linked to your bank) so we can pay you every Monday
- Your ABN (or register one free at abr.gov.au)
- A National Police Certificate issued within the last 12 months
- Vehicle insurance details, if you hold cover for delivery use
We review every application before approval. Vehicle insurance for delivery use is recommended but not required: a standard personal car policy usually does not cover delivery work, so check your cover, and remember you are responsible for any damage you cause.
As an independent contractor you are also responsible for your own accident cover. Tuckero does not provide personal accident, income protection or workers’ compensation insurance for drivers, so we recommend you arrange cover for injury and loss of income before you start.
